High-end hydraulic technology in China - Norma Hydraulics

Which Chinese company excels in high-end hydraulic technology? For the sake of our nation's strong industrial base, please share this!

In engineering machinery hydraulic systems, load-sensing multi-way valves are common. They are core components of engineering machinery and severely restrict the development of China's high-end hydraulic component industry. However, China, as the world's factory, possesses production and processing capabilities but struggles to produce hydraulic brands with a distinctly Chinese identity. Entering the 21st century, China's emphasis and support for the machinery industry have continuously increased. The government encourages independent innovation, and many companies have gradually transitioned from reliance on imports to independent research and development. Although the path has been challenging, remarkable achievements have been made.

Against this backdrop, hydraulic companies like Norma Hydraulics (Radk-Tech) have emerged, aiming to develop domestic high-end hydraulic components to change the situation of complete reliance on imports in the application of engineering machinery in China. Although my understanding of the R&D, manufacturing, processes, equipment, human resources, and mass production of hydraulic components was almost blank at the time, the passion of Norma people comes from the widespread admiration for this technology and the fear of its difficulty; at the same time, China, a vast country with a booming economy, must have hidden potential demand—this is the confidence the market gives to Norma. Norma shoulders the strategic mission of breaking the bottleneck of core components restricting the independent development of engineering machinery. This is a very young Chinese hydraulic company, challenging the weakness of China's hydraulic technology—"high-end hydraulic components"—with courage and persistence, and is determined to share the Chinese and even global market with world-renowned brands. Chinese hydraulics need fresh blood, need such enterprises with the spirit of "martyrs", and even more need entrepreneurs who will "persist to the end." Established in 2001, Shanghai Norma was founded during a period of rapid recovery and strong growth in China's equipment manufacturing industry, accumulating abundant market resources and encountering most of the technical elites in this application field. In February 2005, it officially established a manufacturing plant integrating R&D, production, and sales.

Today, Norma's high-pressure load-sensing multi-way valves and balancing valves can truly share the market with foreign and imported products. I believe the word "share" is more appropriate than "replace." For the market, Norma adheres to the concept of "coexistence." Using low prices to eliminate competitors is a poor tactic. Enterprises must leave themselves sufficient profit margins to continuously invest in R&D, continuously innovate, and continuously improve product quality. Product quality is the root of the sustainable development of an enterprise.
